I have a love-hate relationship with this Starbucks. They sell Starbucks coffee, but they don't do it very well. The staff are all very friendly, but they make so many errors its frustrating. I blame the drive-through experience as it can't be very easy to get the custom coffee orders correct over the intercom. They are often randomly 'out' of food items or ingredients. If the ingredient is in a coffee, however, they may not let you know. I can't tell you how many times I've ordered a salted caramel frappuccino to not have salt on it. I've started to make my own coffee at home to save the frustration that is this starbucks. Actually, I guess I don't love it so much after all.

I like this location it's perfect I love that's it's super close to the beach. It has plenty if parking, outdoor seating, and a drive through. Just about perfect by Starbucks standards. The staff are really nice I know a lot of baristas locate have become VERY pretentious IDK why it's coffee??? But not at this location. SO drink up I need my caffeine daily well all day long !!

I know reviewing a Starbucks is akin to kicking a puppy but : This is the worst Starbucks I've ever been to, and I go to a lot of Starbucks. The concept is cute , it's a drive up / walk up only right at the beach ( no inside space). But please be aware they only actually care about the drive thru. The walk up patrons can wait 10 minutes or more for their orders ( I know because I went two days in a row and waited at least that long both days). The first day , my drink order was wrong but the line to order was so long I didn't want to get in line just to wait again. So the second day I told them specifically that the drink had been prepared wrong the day before and what they had forgotten ... Guess what? Yup .. Still wrong in exactly the same way. I told them this time,they offered to re do it but again I didn't have another 15 min of my life to waste. I would suggest you find another Starbucks .

Everybody that works there has always been super friendly but the last three times we went were enough for us to never go back. Times #1 and 2, our cups were filled so full (seemed like past the top of the cup but that's impossible) that most of the coffee wound up on my sleeves and in the car cup holders. The third time, we learned our lesson and asked for a little room at the top. The barista said it would be just a couple minutes while fresh coffee brewed. We got our coffee and drove home because everything seemed right. First sip of coffee - it wasn't even luke warm. Fresh coffee not hot? How disappointing. I'll be driving to another Starbucks.

Like others have mentioned I was surprised when this location opened (in a former Rally's) for a couple reasons. It was right across the street from another store (no longer there) and it was completely different model than any store I had ever seen. Yes, part of going to SBUX is to get the whole coffeehouse experience, but if you can't get in the building can you still get that? Definitely! This store is perfect for this corner - other than the limited parking issue. The beach towns pride themselves on being able to sit outside year round and that really is your only option at this location if you're not driving thru. Yes, the drive thru can get a little backed up and flow out onto the street, but it definitely moves. What this store isn't really the best for - getting a large to go order for the office. That's best handled in one of their normal locations where you've got plenty of counter space to set up your carry out trays and you're not causing the drive thru line to back up.

Dropped in today for a coffee to take with me back to work. Staff was not rude at all but not overly friendly or excited to see me. The girl at the cash register was quick and the drinks were made very fast. Both drinks that my friend and I ordered tasted great and were the perfect temp. No extra effort was made to thank us for coming, but it started to get busy as we left. The bathroom was clean and the "condiment area" seemed to be well stocked. Would definitely go back.

This is primarily a drive thru Starbucks that also has a walk up window. It used to be directly across the street from a little cafe Starbucks but that one has since closed and is currently a Jimmy John's. I thought it was crazy that they had a Starbucks literally 20 paces from another Starbucks, so I had to get the scoop. The barista told me that the cafe store on the Atlantic Beach side wanted to put a drive through in there but the city wouldn't let them. So they just built one directly across the street. Maybe Starbucks was afraid that a different coffee house would come in and build a drive thru on their turf. It is a common practice in the biz (so I've read, anyway). Well, being a former Barista myself, I hated the drive thru. I felt like it was a bastardization of the "Starbucks Experience." I avoided it at all costs. But now the cafe store is gone and I have a baby, so I'm in the need-coffee-stat mode. Today I rode my bike up here, as I do whenever I get the chance. This location is so much better now that they've added the awning. The fans and breeze keep it quite cool. There are tons of comfy seats. In the winter they have patio heaters, so you really can come out any time of year. These days, I actually prefer this outdoor Starbucks. Also, I have never had a bad experience in the drive thru or at the walk up window. The baristas here are some of the friendliest that Starbucks has to offer. I'm so lucky that this one is the closest to my house.

I like this open-air Starbucks with a walk-up window and a drive thru. It was nice to lounge around in the comfortable chairs and feel the beach breeze. I didn't even mind that I got the most watery limeade in the history of limeades.

Right across the street from a full sized Starbucks (363 Atlantic Blvd # 14) is a smaller walk by, drive by Starbucks. The staff is friendly and the drinks were sent our way in a quick fashion. No problems here but taking a left onto 3rd Street|FL A1A.

This is a quality Starbucks. The staff are always friendly and quick with the orders. The landscaping and outdoor seating are nicely kept. There is only outdoor seating - you place your order at a window on the patio. It's conveniently located just as you enter the Atlantic Beach town area - we usually stop here before heading down to the beach. The drive through can get loaded up pretty quickly, but this is expected as there is no indoor space - not many options. Not much else to say - good quality coffee.

As much as I've been in Atlantic Beach I have only been to this Starbucks once and I went through the drive thru. This time I came here for an after dinner sweet tooth fix. I was excited to try the seasonal Gingerbread Latte. FYI a lot of Starbucks selections are NOT listed on the menu but you can still order them. The GB Latte was one of them. My buddies ordered the Caramel Macchiato and Skinny Vanilla Latte. Our Barista was very cheerful and nice, our drinks were out as soon as I paid (quickest service I've ever received at a Starbucks) As others have mentioned this is an outdoor seaying/drive thru only. Part of the outdoor seating is covered and partially not. It was 9:30pm so it didn't matter for us but they offer round tables with chairs and big comfy outdoor patio chairs, we chose the comfy chairs :) My Gingerbread unfortunately was a miss. It tasted like chai Latte and water, not much like coffee. I did not order it skinny but I detected something artifical tasting anyway. The skinny vanilla was better but I have tasted better from other Starbucks. Lastly, the Caramel Macchiato tasted the most like coffee but not much like Caramel. I would try this place out again because if the atmosphere, located so close to the beach and several awesome restaurants, Poe's Tavern, M Shack and Flying Iguana, just to name a few, but the flavor of the drinks were definitely lacking for me.

Overpriced and "regular" coffee not so good. I see the "Starbucks zombies" coming here is droves getting the latest coffee with cream and loaded with sugar. I'm a black coffee drinker and not into the fad drinks. So for me the wait for bland coffe is not for me.

This Starbucks is excellent. It's right on the corner and they have drive-thru so it is very convenient. Their service is excellent too. My daughter ordered a cheese Danish and it came warm and toasted! Normally you would have to specify but it was as if they knew that's how she liked it! They read back your order to you in the drive thru- to be sure they get everything right!

Nice location, really close to the beach and other fine establishments. This location is built different. It's more for sitting and relaxing outside or taking it to go. Service is usually fast and they get the job done.

All in all a nice experience. The seating is all outside so if it's really hot might want to go elsewhere. Its like an upscale walk up Dairy Queen window. Much more relaxed beach environment than the JAX beach location. Furniture could use cleaning and updating for the cushioned chairs.
